At first glance the Headrush MX5 is superior to the Stomp and less expensive. 11 blocks, touchscreen is amazing though small on this model, built-in expression, has balanced 1/4" outs like the Stomp, USB recording though I found reamping tricky.I like the HX stomp a lot, but honestly the lack of preset buttons was the reason the I passed on it. Ended up going with the Headrush Pedalboard because it has 8 preset buttons available. Being in a gigging cover band I use all 8 buttons (and then some).
