Mar 1, 2015 · Nearly all power is routed through these ECM's and they were to handle all the circuit breaker tasks as well. From 2007 and later model 700's, the ECM was replaced with individual circuit breakers etc., which solved the ECM failure dilemma. Polaris Has been aware of the problem for years and have sold many replacement ECM's.

A short to ground is the more often found problem. There is nothing to do but investigate.
