The only "factory reworks" have been when someone sends theirs back to Kel-Tec for warranty repair. I don't know the exact serial number when Kel-Tec began producing units with all of the current modifications, but I would be comfortable in purchasing any PMR-30 with a serial number larger than W1000.Serial Number range(s) for Kel‐Tec SUB‐2000 recall. So, I switched to CLP and it worked better. Then I found some military surplus LSA which was a predecessor to CLP in M-16 type rifles. LSA was the lubricant that "fixed" the M-16 in Vietnam. It also fixed my first PMR. It is somewhere between oil and grease.

Then I started having issues with the rounds not seating properly.
