I removed the flywheel to take a look at the stator. Unfortunately, the magnets on the inside of the flywheel broke off and chewed up the stator. The black/red wire was disconnected at the solder point. So, that's why it was ohming out. I have a stator on the way. Now I gotta find a flywheel, preferably used.
